Upper Westside Brownstone 2

Previously a series of small rooms, the 100’ long parlor floor was reconfigured to hold a sizeable dining room, living room and kitchen. A large steel window looks out across neighboring gardens from the kitchen, and illuminates a custom bench with an eat-in kitchen table. Painted horizontal wood paneling wraps around the new central stair hall, crowned with an enlarged skylight to allow light to reach the lowest floor. A new stair connects the kitchen to an upper level study/ family room, which opens onto a rooftop garden. New finishes throughout include custom plaster molding, limestone mantels, wide plank white oak floors, and custom millwork. All floors are accessible by a new elevator.
