Greenwich Village Brownstone

PDA converted this brick townhouse on an irregularly shaped site from four small apartments to a compact single family home. Original beams were exposed in the kitchen in order to achieve maximum ceiling height. A paneled entry, elegant living room, and cozy den occupy the parlor level. The master bedroom suite includes a reading nook with an oculus window providing additional light to the stair hall, which is topped by an enlarged skylight. Whimsical wall covering and a bead board wainscot surround the claw foot tub in the kids’ bathroom. The roof houses an open air shower and extensive outdoor living area.
